Just a heads-up: because these pull a decent amount of current, double-check your wiring and relays. You don’t want to deal with a burnt-out terminal just because the wires were too thin for the load. Why carbon fiber and quartz? We wrap the carbon fiber core in a clear quartz envelope. The quartz does two things: it protects the core, but it also stays out of the way so the infrared waves can fly straight through. One big plus? Carbon fiber is just tougher. It doesn’t snap under vibration the way tungsten does. And since the glass is clear, the heat penetrates deep into whatever material you’re working on. Getting it running on your floor.
